The lodge community consists of
both residential and the Retreat and Conference Centre. The Lodge
community seeks to
provide a healthy, wholesome environment for individuals and families
to
live and grow together.
The residential accomodations are
surrounded by a greenbelt on three sides. There is a playground
where children can play safely within a park-like setting, along with a
swimming pool during the summer months.Located on the property is a large certified organic garden (shown at left), which supports the philosophy of stewardship and intentional living. The residents all share the garden which supplies a bounty of fresh flowers, herbs and vegetables that is harvested every Fall, leading up to a delicious potluck dinner for the entire community.
Elise Thomas leads the attunement groups in 100 Mile House, and has been an attunement practitioner for many years. For more information or to make an appointment call 250-395-4077 ext. 27. or 250-791-5254.
Tom and Charlene Hunter from Sunrise Ranch in Colorado, travelled to 100 Mile House BC to facilitate the first of two Stillpoint events being held in the province this year. There were 19 participants ( shown at left ) ranging from early twenties to several seniors, with 6 BC locations represented. Several individuals, relatively new in their connection to EDL in this region, enjoyed exposure to the Tone represented via this very potent and generative seminar.
Services are held every Sunday
morning at the log chapel (shown at left) between 10:00 -
11:00am. A number of years ago when Michael Cecil was attending the World Council of Churchs in Chicago, he became aware of a number of groups that held a World Blessing Service every Thursday morning. When he returned to 100 Mile House, knowing what a vital role this service would provide, he implemented this in the Emissary body worldwide. For most of the time it was in the loving hands of Grace and Jim Moore. Now Mike and Elise Thomas care for this time. The blessing is held between 10:00 - 10:30am Pacific Standard Time.
In April, 2003, the British Columbia
Regional Gathering was held at the 100 Mile House Lodge. It was a
time of sharing spirit through worship, attunement, the arts and social
